Join us for a interactive discussion where we communicate via writing and hope for impact. Whether our communication is intended to inform, persuade, record, or entertain, it’s important to capture the reader’s attention and clearly convey the message. This session will focus on the power of impactful written communication and easy tips and tricks to enhance everyday writing in the world of local governments.

Sarah, manages a suite of programs dedicated to building, maintaining, and sustaining safe, healthy, and affordable housing units. Sarah was a community journalist for nearly two decades before pursuing her MPA at Wichita State University, and she has worked in local government since 2020. Her passion for writing and storytelling continues to be foundational to her work in public service.
